Clarins Nature Temptations

Clarins has also launched its Spring '09 collection, Nature Temptations, at the counters in Singapore. The star product of the collection for me is the Nature Temptations Eye Color Palette (S$70) which features a good mix of neutrals and brights.

I tested the eyeshadows at the counter and was impressed by the silky texture and good color payoff. The eyeshadows are softly shimmery without any glitter chunks. In particular, the teal shade and purple shade are very pretty. The pairing of teal with pink, purple, beige and brown is unusual, especially for spring, but it has the potential for creating many interesting and pretty combinations.

I also liked the single eyeshadow in Iris Blue, which is a very pigmented, dark royal blue that has a gorgeous metallic sheen when applied.

I highly recommend checking out the Nature Temptations palette. Japan appears to have gotten a different shade combination for the palette, but I prefer the one we have in Singapore, (which is the same as the US release) as it has the unusual teal shade which has been replaced by a pastel green in the Japan version.
